Green13 Store Locator — a Shopify app by Green13 srl. Last updated: 12 October 2026.

The app stores the list of physical stores that the merchant enters. It does not collect, store or receive any data about the shop's customers or visitors.

Who is responsible

Green13 srl ("Green13", "we") develops and operates the app. Contact: info@green13.agency. For the store data described below, Green13 acts as a processor on behalf of the merchant who installs the app.

What the app does

Green13 Store Locator lets a merchant publish a "find a store" page on their Shopify theme: a searchable list of their physical shops or retailers, a map, and the option for visitors to sort stores by distance from their own location.

Data we store

Store locations	What the merchant enters or imports for each physical store: name, street address, city, ZIP code, country, the store's phone number, opening hours, website, and map coordinates. This is business information about the merchant's shops and retailers, published on the merchant's own storefront.
Shop session	The shop's domain and the access token Shopify issues when the app is installed, needed to keep the app working.
Geocoding cache	The store addresses already converted into map coordinates, so the same address is not looked up twice.
Customer and visitor data	None. The app requests no access to customers, orders or products.

Visitors of the merchant's shop

No tracking. The store locator sets no cookies, uses no analytics and sends nothing to Green13's servers: the store list is delivered by Shopify together with the page.
"Use my location" stays in the browser. If a visitor chooses to share their location (the browser asks for permission first), it is used only on their device to sort stores by distance. The exact coordinates are never sent to Green13 and are not stored. If the map is shown, it then moves to the visitor's area together with the nearest stores, so the map provider receives requests for the map images of that area, which show which area is being viewed but not the exact coordinates (see "Map tiles").
Map tiles. When the map is shown, the visitor's browser downloads map images directly from the map provider (by default OpenFreeMap), which, like any website, receives the visitor's IP address, browser information and which part of the map is being viewed, to deliver them. If the merchant configures a different map provider, that provider's terms apply.
Directions. "Get directions" is a plain link to Google Maps; nothing is sent to Google unless the visitor clicks it.

Service providers

Aruba S.p.A. (Italy)	Hosting of the app and its database (servers in Italy, European Union).
Nominatim (OpenStreetMap Foundation)	Converts store addresses into map coordinates, once, when the merchant saves or imports stores. Only the store's address, city, ZIP code and country are sent, from our server. See the OSMF privacy policy.
OpenFreeMap	Default provider of the map shown on the storefront, loaded by the visitor's browser (see openfreemap.org). Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
Shopify	Stores the published copy of the store list (app metafields) and handles billing for the app subscription.

Retention and deletion

Store locations stay until the merchant deletes them in the app.
When the app is uninstalled, Shopify notifies us 48 hours later (shop/redact) and we delete everything we hold for that shop: store locations, geocoding cache and session.
Requests about customer data (customers/data_request, customers/redact) are answered with "no data held", because the app holds none.

Your rights

Merchants can view, correct and delete their store data at any time from the app, or ask us at info@green13.agency. If a store entry contains personal data (for example a sole trader's name), the person concerned can ask the merchant or us for access, correction or deletion under the GDPR, and can lodge a complaint with their data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If the data the app handles changes, this page will be updated before that change is released, and the date above will change.
